- All participants must be age 6 and over.
- CHAPERONE REQUIRED: Children aged 17 and younger must be accompanied by a paid adult with a ticket for this Encounter. For children 12 and under, no more than four children per adult.
- 30 min program duration includes travel time to walk from check-in at Zoo Center to program location.
- We cannot guarantee which animals you will meet on an encounter. Selection is at the keeper’s discretion - and is always subject to change.
- ACCESSIBILITY: Contact us in advance if someone in your reservation needs assistance or accommodations for accessibility, so we can help provide the best Wild Encounters experience. For guests with sensory sensitivities: Guests are required to stay seated once in the encounter location. This experience may include observation of free-roaming and/or flighted birds. For guests with mobility concerns: there is a 5-8 minute walk to the program location but a vehicle may be available for transport with notice given, at least 2 days prior to vipexperiences@wcs.org.
* This ticket is for the program ONLY and does not serve as admission into the zoo. Must have a valid WCS Membership or separate admission ticket (any type) in order to enter the Bronx Zoo. Tickets or Membership can be purchased in advance online, or upon arrival at zoo entrance.
